Freemasons Foundation is supporting the annual NZCT Chamber Music Contest, with competition heating up as we’re now down to the regional finals. Since 1965 the competition has provided a wonderful platform for thousands of budding secondary school musicians to experience being part of larger ensemble performances.
Each year the event acts as an inspirational springboard for many of tomorrow's musicians and composers to perform and enjoy the thrill of playing and making music together to audiences around the country. We are proud to support and be a part of this wonderful musical showcase, aiding the discovery and development of our young people involved in the performing arts in New Zealand. Our support provides funds for coaching and regional travel scholarships throughout the contest.
Don’t miss the fabulous Regional Final performances on this month, presenting the winners of the district rounds and some of New Zealand’s very best emerging musical talent.
