On the 7th of August, the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra (APO) welcomes students from the University of Auckland School of Music, players from Auckland Youth Orchestra, as well as advanced music students currently at secondary school to join a workshop and performance at the Auckland Town Hall alongside the APO musicians.
These aspiring young talents are seated next to the APO musicians, paired one-to-one, for a powerful and memorable mentoring experience.
The workshop comes to fruition in the evening with a free public performance in the Town Hall, delivered by students and APO musicians alike.
The Big Play In 2023 will take place on Monday, August 7.
