Congratulations to Dr Catherine Morgan, Professor Lynette Tippett and their fellow team members from the Universities of Auckland and Singapore who are working together to develop a new AI tool to predict dementia.
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment granted their project $4 million in July.
“Thank you so much to the Freemasons Foundation for funding my work on Cerebrovascular health in dementia – it will be a key component of this project. Building on the support of the Freemasons, I’ve been part of a successful team in securing funding from the Government on a project that is really exciting as it expands our work in using MRI in Alzheimer’s disease, to use AI to predict dementia and to develop a tool for doctors to use” – Dr Catherine Morgan.
