In the past two years, over 700 people have attended Glaucoma NZ’s symposiums, with 97% reporting greater confidence in managing their condition afterwards. Many of these events have also sparked the creation of ongoing volunteer-led support groups - extending the benefit well beyond a single day.

This means up to 700 people are directly supported, countless more reached through local awareness campaigns, and new peer networks built to reduce isolation and fear.
