EVolocity & young Kiwis racing into the future

EVolocity is a unique, nationwide STEM charity that gives young New Zealanders of all genders, ethnicities and backgrounds the chance to design, build, and race electric vehicles - turning their passions into potential career pathways. Our students don't just learn about engineering - they live it and drive it!!

EVolocity is extremely proud and honoured to have been selected as a finalist in the 2026 NZ Hi-Tech Awards - Best Hi-Tech Solution for the Public Good Category.  This award recognises technology that is making a genuine, positive difference to society in Aotearoa and beyond. 

Seeing our rangatahi get hands-on with engineering, teamwork, and their EVs is a reward in itself, but having the programme's impact recognised at this level is something special.
